RSS feed for this sectionA girlfriend of mine is jetting off to Sicily shortly and we were just talking about what to pack for that “La Dolce Vita” look when I spotted this Asos Postcard and Stripe Print Dress (skirt in same pattern here) – bella regazza indeed!
Love chain-stitch embroidery and am all over this Lot, Stock & Barrel x ASOS collaboration.
This Mango Ruffled Poplin Dress is such a fun look with the Mango Decorative Knot Skirt which I would accompany with a Clare V Petite Alice (also here).
Such a fun and flirty combination with this Stradivarius Military Style Dress Coat, Comme Des Garçons Play Heart Tee, Isabel Marant Etoile Olga Wrap Skirt and Soludos Baleriac Sandal.
Watched a wonderful Netflix series “Abstract: The Art of Design”, the first episode featured illustrator Christoph Niemann and ever since he mentioned his love of black and yellow I can’t get that combination out of my head. Here’s how I’d wear it… this Champion Reverse Weave Hoodie (borrowing from the boys again!) with these Isabel Marant Evera Denim Pant, Everlane E2 Pointed Slide and this fabulous Yayoi Kusama x XLarge x Porter 2Way Helmet Bag (available in store at Opening Ceremony).
This Wildfox South Beach Stripe Loews Sweater is so fun, particularly like how it’s styled with these Adidas Gazelle Green Suede Trainers. I’d wear mine with a flared short like these Natasha Zinko Wide Denim Shorts (another version on sale here).
Saw a super stylish gal in a pair of paper bag shorts and had I been quick enough I would have nabbed her with a where-did-you-get-those-I-need but alas I was too slow so here are some alternatives. Ecote Coffee Break Paper Bag Shorts or these Open Road Denim Paper Bag Shorts (also in white) which I would pair with this Madewell Westlight Button Down Shirt (on sale!) or this Silence + Noise Cuff Off the Shoulder Top and because you can never (ever) have too many wicker baskets I would carry this J McLaughlin Victoria Circular Wicker Bag .
Continuing the modern woman’s working wardrobe theme, workplaces are so casual these days that you can have a lot more fun with what you wear at work. Tech girlfriend needed to update her wardrobe given the funky work environment she is in so when we went shopping (at Incu, one of my faves) and she slipped these Bassike Cotton Slub Relaxed Pant II they were so spot on! I like them cuffed and with a heel, being a flats girl she went with these WOMAN by Common Projects slip ons (also here). On top she chose this Equipment Holly Shirt and I think this H&M Ruffled Blouse would work well too. A tuxedo jacket (like this Alexander Wang Layered Tuxedo) would lend an easy glamour to this look.
I could totally live in this Marle Luca Shirt and Zoe Shorts combination all summer long (also here).
